September 12-13 The Production: The Art of Teaching
Learn how to refine and master every aspect that goes into creating the production of a yoga class. From arriving to the studio, greeting the class, to ending with Namaste and everything in between. Lights, music, voice, diction, projection, presence, sequencing, cueing, theming, pace and heat will be covered. Deepen your knowledge of what makes any drop-in yoga class a great yoga class. Learn to use and master the tools in your tool belt from grand opening to grand closing. As the founder of Salute the Sun Yoga, a lead teacher for a local studio for 7 years, and over 2000 hours of advanced training, she brings her experiential knowledge, background and 11 years of teaching experience to this training.TUITION

Led by Shannon Burns, Family Nurse Practitioner, E-RYT 500, YACEP, this 20 hour training will deepen your understanding of the human body + will teach you about the functional movements of yoga asana.
Discover the human body as an integrated whole by making anatomy concepts accessible for you and your students. Upon completing the training you’ll be immediately ready to incorporate this information into your classes, and leave a lasting embodied impression on your students through each and every class you teach.
